Sunday "Meeting"

Hi All,
On Sundays, we usually meet up with our good friends, The Blades. We refer to this as our Sunday "meeting." We all went to school together and are from the same hometown and attend the same church. Here we are at the winery, in our small hometown. One of our favorite places to visit :) Sometimes we go to each other's homes and sometimes here. No matter where we go, we always have some laughs and good times!

Hope you all have a good week ahead!

Seasonal Sunday

Good Morning All,
I hope you all had a Very Merry Christmas! We sure did :) This was my view out my back door early Christmas morning, before the kids came.

Do you think Cocoa and Theodore were happy to see their brother???

Here are some vintage things on my vintage hutch. I have collected them over the years. I love my blue and white onion pattern. Etched glassware sugar and creamer and a red transferware creamer. The photos are of my babies, now 28 and 24. The hutch...

Tabletop!

Good Morning All,
We are suppose to be in the mid 30's today in Illinois. Sorry for the darkness of the first picture, but I took it early this morning so I could join Tabletop Tuesday!
One of my favorite newer pieces in the Cape house. My Bob Timberlake desk all decked out for Christmas.
It holds one of my favorite writing desk tole lamps, old Frosty, a couple of Valarie Parr Hill candle holders and rings, picture of the Tennis Girls, and a platter which Mr. Tennis empties all his junk, (oops, did I say that out loud?), I MEAN things from his pants pockets at night. :)

Hope you all have a great Tuesday!

Dining Room

Hi All,
I finally have a DINING room in the Cape house. We always ate at the back of the living room in the dining nook. I love that little space, but never enough room to seat more that four, comfortably. We decided to move our bedroom upstairs to the large bedroom my daughter used to use for her bedroom and made the downstairs bedroom into a dining room. This is the result. I might paint in the future, but too busy now with the holidays...
A view of the armoire we brought over from the upstairs hall at the Inn...

My Writing Desk

Good Morning All,
My Bob Timberlake writing desk is home! I love this desk. I bought it for the Daisy Inn 8 yrs ago, and it sat in the parlor. Yesterday we brought it home to the Cape house. I am so happy to have it here!
Excuse the wire mess below... I have placed it in the breakfast nook, where there is lots of light...

Some of the detail...

And of course, a little lighted tennis tree on top!
