Ready for Fall!

Hi All,
I worked on Fall decor, the last couple of days.  Here is a little tour, around the cape house.

I bought this ceramic pumpkin years ago, when the kids were little.  I put a luminera candle in it.

Painting this old chair is one of my fall projects

I put the baby gate up, so the poochies can hang with us on the porch

I am ready for the little goblins in Oct!

Hope you enjoyed the tour.

More of the Home Tour and Shower

Hi All,
We have received some much needed rain in Illinois.  My flowers are loving it.  Thought I would post some more pictures of my cousin's beautiful home and the baby shower I attended there, for her daughter-in-law.

Home Tour and Baby Shower!

Hi All,
I am hoping to start posting a little more with Fall coming soon and my husband's cancer treatments coming to and end, tomorrow!  Praise the Lord!
A couple of weekends ago my cousin hosted a baby shower for her dear daughter-in-law.  I went up on Friday so I could help her out on Sat, before the shower.  What a fun time we all had.  I wanted to show you her home.  It is so beautiful.  I hope you all enjoy it!

Touring on Blogland

Hi All,
I was asked by my sweet friend, Susan of Ash Tree Cottage to participate in Touring on Blogland.  Since I would do anything for her, I will give it a shot!  You are to answer 4 questions about your blog, then tag three other bloggers to do the same.  Susan and I started our blogs about the same time and became fast friends, and we had "adopted" each other as sisters.  You see, we are both only children, but that is not where the similarities stop.  We love our families, our pets, have many of the same items in our home, love old movies and are very nostalgic.  Give us some Mary Tyler or That Girl and we are in heaven.  My "sister" is also a Christian and I am, too.  Classy gal, that sister of mine!  Ok, on with the the tour!
I thought maybe you would like to see some of the critters, hanging around the yard.
I love frogs, and here are two.  One even plays tennis!

More froggies!

This is my new addition.  A wind spinner

Quack!

And again, our beloved Daisy dog is flying with the angels.  A stone piece pays tribute to her, under and rose climber.

On to the questions:
1. What am I working on right now?

To be honest, I will let you all know that my husband has been diagnosed with tonsil cancer.  We are in week 5 of treatment.  Prognosis is good and that is where my full attention and devotion is, to getting him well!  Prayers always appreciated.

2.  How does my work differ from others?

I don't really think about the differences, I just write what I feel like.  Hopefully, it is something you all enjoy.

3.  Why Do I Write/Create What I Do?

I just write whatever I feel like showing to you, on that given day.

4.  How Does My Writing Process Work?

Normally, due to time limitations, it is pretty much the same.  Picture and description.  There are so many great writers out there and I applaud you.  I am hoping someday to become better at that!

I am passing on the torch to...

Linda at Linda's Life Journal
You will not find a more family oriented or sweet, true person that Linda

Ann at A Sentimental Life

This is a long post, but I hope you enjoyed it.
